In particular, the project aims to make cultural diversity visible and valued in public spaces, creating a dynamic of interaction and exchange among residents.
The method is based on collecting stories about food, culinary practices and life experiences from both foreign and local individuals in a series of workshops. The stories collected are then presented by participants at public events. To make the method transferable, we will develop a manual and – together with the participants – produce fanzines.
The project, co-funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme, started in September 2024 and will be completed by the end of October 2026. In this project Storytelling Centre partners with:
