In a diverse society, groups can become increasingly distant from each other through polarization. How do you bring groups closer together and create understanding? At the Storytelling Centre we have been working for years on interventions to reduce polarization, both internationally and locally in cities like Amsterdam and The Hague. We are happy to share our experiences and insights.
In our publication (in Dutch), storytelling coaches Hester Tammes and Arjen Barel explain how sharing stories can contribute to greater mutual understanding and connection. With practical examples and theories, we offer a fresh perspective on storytelling as a tool against polarisation.
